NestTest® is a healthcare fulfillment partner that provides physician- ordered, in home sample collection kits. By streamlining the logistics of preventive and symptomatic screenings, NestTest® helps healthcare providers expand access to care, especially for patients with mobility, geographic, or scheduling challenges.

Who can use NestTest® services?

NestTest® services are available to licensed medical providers and their patients. A healthcare provider initiates the process by ordering their patient's appropriate test(s).

Is NestTest® a direct to consumer service?

No. NestTest® is not a direct to consumer service. A licensed healthcare provider must order all diagnostic tests.

How does NestTest® support preventive care?

NestTest® allows providers to deliver timely screenings outside traditional clinical settings. This proactive approach helps detect health problems earlier and reduces the risk of disease progression, without increasing in office workload.

Who is responsible for ordering a test, patients, or providers?

Only licensed medical providers can order tests through NestTest®. After a provider initiates the order and determines the appropriate tests, patients receive their sample collection kits at home.

How are sample collection kits shipped to patients?

Sample collection kits are shipped to patients’ homes overnight with a secure, trackable carrier. Each package is discreetly wrapped and clearly labeled to guarantee timely and safe delivery.

Is shipping free for both patients and providers?

Yes. NestTest® covers all shipping costs, including delivery to the patient and returns to the laboratory, at no expense to the patient or provider.

How long does delivery take after placing an order?

Once a provider places the order, the sample collection kit is usually processed and shipped within 24 hours. Patients typically receive their kits the following business day.

What should I do if a kit is lost or damaged during transit?

If a kit is lost or damaged during shipping, NestTest® will promptly send a replacement at no extra charge. Providers or patients should contact our support team immediately when an issue is noticed.

Are shipping supplies included in the kit?

Yes. Each kit includes all the supplies needed for secure shipping to the lab, such as pre labeled packaging and shipping materials that meet lab and regulatory standards.

Are patients given instructions for collecting and returning samples?

Collections are proctored, and proctored testing instructions are included in the packaging.

How many kits will a patient receive?

The patient will receive one kit. The number of collection devices depends on the type of test ordered. Some screenings require only one device, while others, such as combined panels, may need two. The provider will inform the patient of what to expect.

Can a patient finish the test without going to a clinic?

Yes. NestTest® is designed to be done completely at home. Patients can collect and mail their samples back without visiting a clinic or lab.

What should be done if a patient has trouble collecting the sample?

Each kit includes clear instructions to help patients through the process. If they need more assistance, they can contact NestTest’s® customer support team for assistance or troubleshooting.

Are test kits appropriate for people with limited mobility?

Yes. NestTest® is designed to improve access for individuals who face challenges visiting a medical office, including those with limited mobility, transportation issues, or scheduling conflicts.

Are instructions included in the kit for returning the sample?

Yes. Each kit contains detailed return instructions, including how to package the sample and where to place the prepaid return label. All necessary shipping materials are provided to ensure the sample arrives safely and on time.

Is NestTest® CLIA-certified?

NestTest® is only compatible with CLIA-certified laboratories, ensuring all testing meets federal quality laboratory testing and diagnostics standards.

How does NestTest® safeguard patient data?

NestTest® manages all patient information using secure, encrypted systems. Access is restricted to authorized personnel, and data is stored according to industry best practices for privacy and cybersecurity.
